I love these chairs! They are ALMOST exactly as described. Sturdy, easy assembly, and despite other reviews, comfortable. (They are for my formal dining room, so seated sessions will be infrequent and relatively short.) Taupe is a nice neutral color. The legs are stained pretty dark, I would call it black. I almost didn’t buy them because of the schematic dimensions. I even called to confirm dimensions and the rep was obviously looking at the same thing. Schematic indicates 20” high 6” seat. Which would make the chair rise 26” under my 27” table apron. The true dimension from floor to top of seat is 19” - which is perfect for my table. My original complaint: I ordered two sets of two chairs for a total of 4 chairs. Just the 4 upper chairs without legs or hardware were in the two boxes. they are useless as delivered! Upon complaining to Wayfair, the rep sent my complaint back to the factory. It turns out that the legs and hardware and an Allen key for each chair were concealed in a zippered compartment under the seat. This took a long time; Wayfair should've known the solution to the problem when I first contacted customer service. Arrived pretty quickly and promptly and was packaged great. Decent instructions and was actually pretty easy and straightforward to assemble. All 4 chairs took me like 30 minutes including unboxing and unwrapping. The wood and cushion color are very attractive together. The wood is a washed finish and looks nice and the fabric looks very rich. There is nice cushioning (a little rigid at first which I assume will soften) and they seem super well made. Great color and great profile. We are in the process of updating our dining space. I wanted new dining chairs but being in the intermediary phase I need the new things to look good with the old things until they are updated as well. Because the legs of the chair are wrapped in the same fabric as the seat it gives flexibility on the style of table since you aren't tied to metal, wood, etc. The back is a lower profile but it still provides decent support and the seat is not too narrow with a good cushion..
