When my wife passed away, I decided that we needed a place to display her collectibles that will protect and honor the memory of her. I started looking at the smaller curio, but decided on the larger display. The cabinet is better than I hoped. It is beautiful and the smaller curio would have been way too small. I had actually ordered the same brand, but different model from the big online site. After I place the order, it turns out it was back order. I emailed the company and inquired about inside delivery and they never got a response back for me. After a month, the order was canceled. I began my search and came to Wayfair. That had this cabinet for cheaper and it had two lights instead of one. When I bought it, I was able to get the room of choice delivery (a must) and everything went great. The curio took two men to bring it in the house because of the weight. The box had a couple of scuff marks, but it was packaged so well that it was clearly safe. There would have been no way for me to get the curio from my front porch in the house by myself. It was almost impossible for me to unbox it by myself. The only assembly was putting the shelf pins in and the glass shelves. If you are looking at curios, get one with two lights and pay for the room of choice delivery. This curio is real future that will be around for decades. My wife would have loved this so much that she would have rushed out to buy more things to go in it. This was the perfect thing for us.
Update: It has been about 6 months and the cabinet is still great. My house is bad when it comes to dust. It seems like the dust will get 3" thick overnight. However, the items in the cabinet are not showing any signs of needing dusting. It is like when the door is closed, that everything is sealed off.. Thomas. SC. Fri Aug 11 2017
