Absolutely beautiful and and easy to put together. My one complaint would be that though the top IS solid wood, I was disappointed to find it still had a laminate over it. Any scratch to the surface and it will bubble if it gets wet and that will eventually ruin the surface. My new Mid Century Modern Dining Table is PERFECT for my dining needs. This is a beautiful dining table. I'm loving the option of being able to add the extension piece to accommodate 6 person seating during the Holidays and special family dinner events. And then the option to remove the table extension for everyday use with just 4 dining chairs when it's just the four of us. Huge plus for sure! The assembly of this Table was pretty straightforward with an easy instruction manual to follow. Once assembling was complete this dinner table is very sturdy and solid. I love the fact that the two square pieces of the table extension once the brackets are put on to connect the two pieces together then you are able to just fold them together for easy storage. Which by the way the folded extension can be stored away under this dinner table under the top of table on a shelf that is there. That there is a huge convience for me. There's no more having to run down stairs under a bed to pull out a heavy extension piece that doesn't even fold . I think that is brilliant! A couple of my dining chairs are a big nice size as you can see in the pictures and there's still plenty of room to dine in comfort without crowding. And I can say the material for this dining table is very strong and of great quality. So I just know it's gonna hold up for several years to come. And that makes me a very happy Wayfair customer! poor quality! First time around, the table top (all three parts) came chipped around the perimeter. Took a week to get clear resolution from the manufacturer, poor communication on their end. Replacement parts that were later received were okay, but still had defects (one deep scratch and another smaller scratch) on the inside of one of the leafs, at least it’s not visible! Its a nice piece of furniture, but be careful of the color. When I saw vintage white , I knew that it would be rustic and not pure white, but this is well beyond that. Its creamy on the yellow side. Ive been in the paint business for 40 years and it is stretching it to even call it an off-white. See the attached picture. I ended up dry brushing some white over it so that it better matched my existing furniture. You can see the before and after. Once again, happy with the furniture, just factor in the color.. Darren. This table isn't as pictured. The top comes in three pieces that I had trouble getting to fit together well without any gaps. In addition, one of the three pieces is a different colour to the other two. It's a solid table that takes a bit of effort to put together.
