This was a fun DIY project for me. It does come with what feels like a gazillion parts, and the instructions can be a little confusing at one point, so take your time. It took me about 3 hours to assemble everything by myself. Once it was finished, though, the end result was fantastic. I’d rate the sturdiness 910—it’s solid for everyday use—but the appearance is easily on par with dining tables that cost much more. It looks premium and has a great presence in the room. The table came out Beautifully! It took about 3 hours to completely build. My husband helped with one part and my 6 year old helped from start to finish. The directions are not accurate, which made the time longer. The screws were not labeled correctly, and only one part of the legs was labeled A or B. The rest I assumed were the same pieces and it didn’t matter where I put them. The legs were not as disappointing as it would have been if I did not read the reviews. Absolutely beautiful and and easy to put together. My one complaint would be that though the top IS solid wood, I was disappointed to find it still had a laminate over it. Any scratch to the surface and it will bubble if it gets wet and that will eventually ruin the surface. Edit: I had a custom made top created and replaced the original top. I love this table. We use it as a kitchen table as the space is narrow and we have 6 people who comfortably sit around this table on a daily basis. It’s easy to clean. I’ve had some very minor warping around the edges where the table connects from water spills but not super noticeable unless you’re looking. Even so, I have plans to eventually pay a carpenter to make a new table top for the dimensions of the legs if it eventually gets too warped.
