The fixed rectangular table and bench are adorned with a built-in rack under the surface and seat for extra plates, magazines, and baskets. Both stools feature a minimal design with slim legs and open backs that keep sightlines clear. The chairs accommodate up to 300 lbs., while the bench supports up to 400 lbs.

This bench is perfect for my needs, I wanted extra seating for a superbowl party, but didn’t want the discomfort of folding chairs. The seat is a little taller than my kitchen chairs, but wide enough for two full adults, the back feels sturdy enough that you can actually lean on it.  It is firm and not very cushioning, but I am very happy with it.  Assembly required a phillips head screwdriver in addition to the allen key that it came with. This is the perfect size for my small eat in kitchen. We like the size and color of the wood. The bench is nice for the kids and the stools are ok. They support fine but are not good for senior citizens (when parents come to visit) not enough support (although sturdy) long term will the bench and stools last that I can’t say. I am however glad it has us eating as a family at the table again. We did add a couple black chairs on the end. Okay so it is absolutely gorgeous. But it is a picture of the wood color on top of basically really heavy plywood. The seats and bench and legs of the table are solid wood very sturdy. The bench is screw on legs where the chairs you had to do a few more steps. Which were easy. You do need a power tool to put the chairs together. The packages mg could have been better but I was lucky that it didn’t get damaged even though some of the boxes came shredded. I knew it was going to take a few weeks to ship and it actually came a few days earlier than expected. It comes in 5 boxes so if you think you’re missing something make sure you have all the boxes first. Really happy with the purchase. Wish it was true solid wood but the plywood or type of wood is really heavy and solid with the printed wood finish is done really well so I’m still happy with my purchase. Hope this helps.. Julie.
