The table is absolutely perfect for a small dining room and the extender leaves at each end make it very accommodating for extra dinner guests. but, there's one complaint...an average size dining chair cannot fit between the space of the bases. therefore the side chairs stick out from the table taking up extra space on the sides of the table. You can not determine this unless you try to actually push the chairs under the table. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! This was not mentioned in any of the reviews! so, i'm stuck with a table and chairs that don't fit under the table on all sides.
