We bought 2. They were a long assembly. They are nice though. Seem to be good quality. The drawers hold quite a bit and there’s plenty of open storage behind the drawers. I don’t have a picture showing the bookcase side headboard, but it’s very nice. The base has so much storage and the whole thing is sturdy. This is my daughter’s tiny college bedroom so storage was important! It took a Wayfair professional assembler over 4 hours to put it together, and she did a fantastic job. The only complaint is FedEx which lostmisplaced all my orders and they were awful about accountability. I went to the service center and after 2 hours of searching, we found my orders and they put them in my car. It was in 2 boxes and weighed a ton. Very pleased with the way this bed came timely and complete with all pieces. Assembly for one person took about 3 hours but most of the holes were prepared and the directions were not bad to follow. The holes for the drawer stop pieces were not drilled, had to measure and drill holes, no problem. The slats had to have the holes drilled first too. Finish on the bed was nice walnut color with no defects. I ordered an 8" mattress for the bed which left about 5 inch railing height around the bed. Appears to be a sturdy wooden bed. We ordered this bed for an autistic 6 year old child for safe enclosure. So far we are happy with this purchase and it turned out as pictured. dec 2025 update: this bed is ok but we have had to repair it twice due to rough kids on the bed. It appears it won't withstand jumping or rough housing on it. The wood split in a couple of places, so we had to replace screws to fix it. And these kids were not heavy kids. The daybed was delivered quickly and in good shape. All pieces were there and probably took my husband about an hour to put together. The color is accurate with the photos. The only negatives are the visible screws and nothing provided (like stickers or covers) to hide them. They are very obvious and make it look cheaper than it should. There is also exposed unfinished wood near the drawers, again affects the appearance. That may be easier to hide once blankets are added. The drawers under the bed are a little smaller than I had hoped but still great. I love this bed! I put it together myself, so it went a little bit slower, but it is completely manageable. The drawers roll under the bed- each wheel has space for 4 screws, but the drawer frame only had 2 pre-drilled for each wheel; they still work just fine! Color and design are exactly as I expected. I have to admit I am very impressed. I thought it was going to be some lightweight MDF but it is much more solid than I expected! The instructions could be a bit clearer but they were easy enough to follow along. I took one star out because I think it’s a bit more yellow in real life than in the picture. I did the bookshelf part with my husband but realistically I could’ve done it all by myself, as long as you have enough space and don’t need to lift the pieces once they’re assembled.
