I’m in love with the frame! I’ve had it a couple of months now and it’s holding well! It does come with wooden slats, to which I had to cover with a blanket because I was using an air mattress until my actual mattress came in and didn’t want to take any chances of it popping. I did have a different frame from Wayfair (the canopy frame which also held up wonderfully) but I’ve been eyeing this one (even before the canopy) and once I moved it was the perfect opportunity to snag it! 5 stars for the bed but unfortunately, the experience took much longer than it should have. Our first delivery arrived incomplete, with only two pieces of wood—more than half of the bed was missing. We had to return it, and a full replacement shipment was sent, which delayed everything, including our assembly (which, of course, we still had to pay for). The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. The bed frame turned out nice for the price, however, the bottom headboard piece had the pre drilled holes on the wrong side. It didn’t matter how you turned it because the other recessed holes would have been on the outside. So we ended up having to drill the holes through the entire frame. Rather disappointing.. Raeanne. I was a little worried from reading some reviews, but I am so happy that I took a chance, the wood was all perfect, I had everything I needed. I am a girl and I put this entire bed together by myself. one review comment stated the screw holes were not lined up perfectly, you need to make sure you line the “wood” meaning make sure you have it lined up.
