The only reason it took that long was because I accidentally installed the headboard sides backward and had to fix them—completely my mistake! Once assembled, the bed was exactly as described. I love the bed, I have no complaints the quality is really nice. I was able to carry and assemble this without assistance so if you wanted to assemble on your own it is possible. The pictures with the white bedding is how it looks without a box spring and the one with stripes is how the bed looks with a box spring.
