The bed is beautiful. It folds up really nicely and does not look like a Murphy bed at all. Much better than the pics! However, the instructions say it takes two hours to build. The wood pattern was just as shown. Received four damaged pieces, (we had to build the bed with the damaged pieces due to company coming) and then take apart to replace damaged pieces. Customer service was efficient. After filling out the damaged item request, replacements arrived quickly with out hassle. The back panels vibrated when moving around on the bed. Amazing value! We looked all around for one of these beds to fit into an extra office/guest room. This was about half the price of other furniture stores and it is a perfect addition to the room. We added a thick mattress cover to make it more plush and some small reading lights in the top underneath so guests will have easy access to a light at night. Comes in 4 boxes, received 2 on one day the other 2 the next day. Really nice set, pretty happy with it. Couple of extras that we are doing to it, the brackets to hold the frame to the wall can be seen when bed is down just going to paint them white to make it less noticeable. The barrel of the hinge for the shelf can be seen when the bed is in the up postion. Definitely need to support the bed frame to the wall and into the studds a must. Nice bedcabinet. Took a half day to assemble but pretty straight forward. There are a couple tighteners that are deep in there. It wasnt an issue for me, but you need skinny arms or a really long screw driver extension to get to them. It is fairly sturdy but I did go ahead and add some center supports, see pics. The first platform out of the cabinet only has 3 points of bracing. The sides and along the bottom. Had a little flex in it. Good for what we needed. Not the most sturdy piece of furniture but will work for occasional use. Assembly takes a while. Make sure you set out all the screws before you start. They are different sizes. We put one in the wrong spot and cracked the wood a little. Nothing a little wood filler can’t fix, but could have been avoided. Tye mattress is pretty comfortable too..
