Bed came packaged for shipping very well! Instructions were clear. It took me about 2.5hrs to put the bed together. I used a ratchet with an allen attachment instead of the provided allen wrench. I will say that I didn't realize that the tufts on the headboard were rhinestones. I probably would have assumed that it would make the bed too girly for my teen son's room and not selected it. However, I'm happy to ssy that it actually didn't look very feminine at all. It looked neutral and was just fine.
