My new Mid Century Modern Dining Table is PERFECT for my dining needs. This is a beautiful dining table. I'm loving the option of being able to add the extension piece to accommodate 6 person seating during the Holidays and special family dinner events. And then the option to remove the table extension for everyday use with just 4 dining chairs when it's just the four of us. Huge plus for sure! The assembly of this Table was pretty straightforward with an easy instruction manual to follow. Once assembling was complete this dinner table is very sturdy and solid. I love the fact that the two square pieces of the table extension once the brackets are put on to connect the two pieces together then you are able to just fold them together for easy storage. Which by the way the folded extension can be stored away under this dinner table under the top of table on a shelf that is there. That there is a huge convience for me. There's no more having to run down stairs under a bed to pull out a heavy extension piece that doesn't even fold . I think that is brilliant! A couple of my dining chairs are a big nice size as you can see in the pictures and there's still plenty of room to dine in comfort without crowding. And I can say the material for this dining table is very strong and of great quality. So I just know it's gonna hold up for several years to come. And that makes me a very happy Wayfair customer! Decided to take a chance on this one (which had no reviews at the time) because the similar options that were available were either very expensive, or were too big for my space. Assembly was a little frustrating because the predrilled holes in the middle shelf don't at all line up with where the screws actually ended up going. The instructions could stand to be a little clearer, too, because I didn't notice one of the subtle bits of the drawing of one of the steps and accidentally installed a part wrong (hence the extra holes in the bottom of the shelf), but luckily the error isn't visible in daily use. The fluted part held up fairly well during assembly and looks good, without any chips or anything that I can see.
