Just great. I love these day of the dead.

I collect skulls and Crows; the skulls in deference to Day of the Dead. I do not see the skulls as morbid or bizarre. I see them as representations in honor of all the people in the world who have died and deserve to be remembered. I adore Crows; they are so smart, aggressive and have a very highly developed social system and "language". That said, my grandchildren look askance at all my skulls; they are confused and, perhaps, some of the skulls frighten them. I have explained very clearly the ancient tradition of the Day of the Dead and I think that helped them to see them in a different light. I freely admit I am not the cuddly, bun wearing Grandma who wears a sweatshirt emblazoned with "My Grandchildren Are My Life!". I DO love them but am 69 years old and enjoy many other activities and interests beyond catering to their whims. That is my son and his wife's job; been there, done that. When I saw this Christmas ornament, it was in My Cart instantly. The color is bright yellow, cheerful and non-threatening. It is a cute representation of Day of the Dead. My hope is that every year when the tree is adorned with ornaments and this little guy comes out of the storage box, my grandchildren will think of me. No one lives forever so, at some point, I will be a member of the Dead honored. Could be worse...

This ornament is beautiful. The colors are bright and cheerful despite this being a skull! Can’t wait to hang it on my tree.
