It got this piece to display as a memento in the Mausoleum with my father's photo when he passed away. My dad took violin lessons when he was little, so I wanted to add a few items to display that reflected his interests and personal history. I do have to say that this figurine looks way more like a cello rather than a violin, so I ended up searching for a different piece for the Mausoleum display. I did, however, keep this piece to display at my home as there is nothing wrong with the construction or the quality of the piece. It just did not end up serving the purpose I bought it for. For anyone looking for a decorative cello, this would be a good piece to have. As a violin, it slightly disappoints, so that is why I've only given it three stars.
