These are poorly designed - there is no way to hang them so hanging them from the wire seemed correct. The wires got loosened from hanging outside and now one doesn’t work at all. I would say don’t use these outside and find a way to attach a hook to hang them with. Very expensive and poorly designed.

Omg I ordered 2 and they are huge and beautiful even better looking in person . I love ♥️ it I will decorate outside my home and passer Byers will love it to!
