I used 6 of these lights linked together in my Christmas tree to give some more illumination and they work great for that purpose. Because of the connecting wire lengths, they ca be a little tricky to place where you want but it's either that or connect each light individually to an outlet, which is overkill, so I made it work. Mostly a pain to take out of the tree and fish around for the wires, but worth it.
