Carreau de mosaïque mural et mosaïque carré en verre pressé iridescent 0,325 po x 0,3125 po Galaxy

This is a beautiful tile, and more blue than purple. BUT they are mounted using a sticky plastic to the front -- not mesh on the back like most tile. That makes them insanely difficult to work with. This was not our first tiling job, and we researched installation and watched the video provided by the manufacturer, but we still wanted to give up many times because it was so hard to deal with this awful tile. The tiles fell off the plastic or became misaligned the minute you touch them, so it took us a week just to get them on the wall. Plus, it's extremely difficult to match up because the tiles go in all different directions within the sheet. Once they were up, we thought we'd gotten through the hard part, but no! When you peel off the sticky plastic, dozens (hundreds!) of tiles come off with it. We've been trying to do the backsplash on our kitchen for two weeks now, and we're still not done because we have to keep reattaching tiny tiles that fall off. At first we thought the problem was that we weren't professional installers, but then we realized that a professional wouldn't have been able to deal with these horrible tiles either. WHY OH WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST MOUNT THIS ON MESH???????????!!!!!!!!!!!! I seriously want to cry.
