There is a layer of protective film on the surface but there are air bubbles all over the surface causing sever wrinkling. On high traffic area these air bubbles will eventually wear off exposing the top layer of the tile. I sampled 6 different boxes and all of them had the same issue

Love this look. It was a little tricky sticking it to uneven slate but the adhesive did do a pretty good job and it pretty clear in the description my situation wasnt ideal. However a lottle extra double sided tape helped. If you are lucky than me and have a even surface to put it on your golden. My only critique is not all the lines on the factory cuts were even. Close enough to do the job but not perfect. A perk is my floor isnt as cold as it used to be when it was all stone slate so thats good enough for me. Much cleaner look too.

Used inside of closets to cover the old flooring. They were easy to install and easy to cut using a blade. Adhesive felt very sticky so hopefully they hold up over time!
