Cantrell 3 - Step Wood Lightweight Folding Step Stool

The assembly of this product is challenging due to tolerance issues with the screws. An Allen key is not strong enough to drive them in, and I had to use an electric drill instead. This also resulted in excessive noise during installation. And one of the screws cannot even be inserted completely

This is the perfect addition to our new kitchen. It's sturdy so I don't worry about it collapsing.

I use it for a nightstand, fits perfectly, color is gorgeous, its very sturdy stable, just wish I got 1 more step higher

First, you definitely need a drill and measuring tape for this assembly. There are no pilot holes for the steps. Secondly, the dowel rod for the steps does not fit well through the pre-drilled holes. As you can see from the photo, it split the wood on the outside. Additionally, I was shorted 4 of the number 5 screws, so I cant even complete the damaged stool.

Great and study stool but it is not the one in the photo for the item- see my photos. It was really easy to put together. It took me about 20 min by myself. The finish is very nice. I wish it had bumpers to keep the stairs from sliding back and forth like some of these do but it’s still functional and sturdy. Weighs 12 pounds. You can stand on the top. When I stand on the top my head hits our kitchen ceiling.

I like the appearance and style. But unfortunately the screws do not fit into the predrilled holes. I am waiting to see how this is handled by support.

Extremely difficult to assemble. The screws and cheap hex key/allen wrench are EXTREMELY difficult to twist so assembling this is a nightmare and already one of the screw heads is stripped. Zero margin for screw holes and screws not lining up perfectly. Also packaged with lots of styrofoam. Do better people. I’ve heard from people that wayfair is known for faulty/cheap products and now I understand. I will never buy from them again.

The item arrived quickly. I like the look and height. However, it was not easy to assemble.
