Porte-serviettes sur pied 25,5 po TS-50T-BKM

My wife and I moved into a new home a few months ago. We were in need of some extra towel hanging space and it seemed like this free standing towel stand by Allied Brass would work although it is extremelyexpensive for the quality received… Try as I might I could not get it assembled as it appeared the parts included were not meant to go together. I called Wayfair, they graciously sent out another one, and just today I finally sat down to put it together. I tried utilizing some of the parts from the original order with the newly received order but quickly discovered they were not the same parts or finish. Our original order was for satin nickel to match our existing bathroom hardware. This second order is of a somewhat different color, almost looking as if it’s painted. The decorative base cover on the new one is made of a heavier gage metal, thus it wasn’t warped. The original base cover being the finish we’d wanted was warped out of the box, thus it wobbled. The original order included a ten pound weight from a gymnasium barbell set which because of its size would not allow the pieces to be assembled… I had to add some felt pads between the new differently designed weight and decorative base cover to prevent wobble of the central shaft. So I’ve used the new decorative base cover with the original central shaft and arms as they’re the color we wanted. Nothing matches in color, but I’m tired of wasting time on this item. Oh and it still doesn’t stand up straight… We’ll use if for as long as it lasts and then find a better more well made product from a different manufacturer… No I would not recommend this item nor Allied Brass products.

Like it ok, but it leans if towels aren’t hung on it.
