the front part of the handle is polish and smooth but the cut out part of the handle is only rough finish and has a jagger quality to it and doesn't look good and is very noticeable. The company was trying to save money on the finish. For the price for these, not worth it. I've seen similar quality with the unfinish cut-out part for a fraction of the price of these Alnos.
