It’s a little loud, but not terrible. The bucket does fill up pretty quick and needs to be emptied often, but there is also the option to attach a drainage hose to the back, which I prefer over relying on the bucket. Overall, it’s a solid product and works well for my household.

The unit has performed wonderfully in my home and I am excited to have it as it is starting to get hotter and more humid. The catch pan for the water is easily removed and dumped and I like that I have the option to run a hose to the outside if I choose to do so which I may end up doing as the unit does fill fairly quickly in my home. The only negatives I will note are that the fan is fairly loud and could become annoying for some and the unit does exhaust fairly hot air so it's a trade off for dry air. All in all I have been very happy with the unit and am excited to see how it helps this summer,

It gives an accurate reading of the current humidity and just like a thermostat controls temperature, this device will lower the rooms humidity until it gets to the preset point. It is quiet, but has a soothing box fan-like tone as well as a nice breeze of air. In fact it could probably replace a box fan in most instances. Very well made and durable.
