The *flapper* is an overly complicated contraption that does not seal so the toilet runs. My toilet has been installed for 4 weeks. They are sending me a new flapper, but you have to take the tank off to replace it. The old-style, simple flappers could be replaced in minutes, and THEY WORKED! As an American engineer myself, I'm embarrassed that they call this the American Standard of engineering.
