I'm glad I chose this shower/tub faucet set. I bought the polished chrome and it's lovely. Only thing that surprised me was the escutcheon behind the H/C handle is made of plastic.

Looks great and seems solid. The piece that surrounds the hot/cold handle is made of plastic. I was kind of taken back by this as everything else is metal. I am hoping it holds up and doesn't scuff or crack. Will update if this occurs, for right now it is great.
