The toilet paper holder does its job. Like the towel bars that go with it, it sticks out from the wall 4”. With a roll of toilet paper on it, it sticks out 6 inches from the wall. That is a lot for a small bathroom, and more space than the thing needs to do its job. I bought the accessories from this American standard series to go with their gooseneck faucet that I liked from the same series. I was surprised that none of the accessories echoed the curve of the goose neck faucet. The towel ring looks like it’s from a different set. Contractor didn’t say there was any trouble on the install, but I do notice the thing wiggles a bit. The products are good quality, and I’m not unhappy, just surprised and would’ve made another choice if I’d realized.

The toilet paper holder is a lighter, warmer version of brushed nickel than we have everywhere else (lighter than our door knobs, etc), but Im ok with the look. The thing Im pretty bummed about is that its only configured to go one way, and sadly it isnt the direction we wanted it to go. We were thinking wed be able to face the open side toward the wall. Its really pretty otherwise!
