My husband is very talented. This was his first pocket door and he had no issues. We are renovating an old farmhouse and this door is entrance to the basement.

Solid, exactly as specified, looks nice. The mechanism is smooth. The one complaint I have is I wish there was an option to order a soft close mechanism.

Would give zero stars if possible. I bough 2 of these doors. This single pocket door and a double door. I can't even write the review for the double door because the status of it is still undelivered after 4 weeks, Plan for delivery to be the longest date or late. It's very important you understand the customer service is the worst I've ever seen. Also, it's not clear on the description is that this door comes with ZERO hardware, and because it's flimsy buying separate hardware is tough. The double door also has a 1/8 gap in the middle that makes privacy impossible. The quality is in my opinion lacking for the price. MAYBE if they took responsibility for the logistical issues I could understand this process but I do not recommend rolling the dice on this door at all.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but I feel like this experience is important to share, especially for other small business owners. I ordered a large pocket door and hardware kit for a renovation project at my business. Because this was a significant purchase in which closing my business for the installation was required, I confirmed through Wayfair’s online chat that the item I selected was a single door, not double doors. I even shared that screenshot of the single door confirmation with my contractor to ensure everything was correct before ordering. The delivery arrived in multiple shipments, with delays beyond the estimated timeline. I had already rearranged my business schedule, closed for the day, and paid my contractor to be there—so timing was critical. When all the packages finally arrived, I realized they had sent two doors instead of one. When I contacted customer service, I was initially told multiple times the product only comes as double doors. After a long conversation and providing screenshots of my original confirmation and pictures of it specifying a single door vs the 2 door option, the representative eventually acknowledged that I was correct. What was very frustrating was being told that the incorrect item may have been sent “hoping it would work” and they could offer a discount. Unfortunately, that simply wasn’t an option for my space or my business needs. and the time we closed down wouldn’t be a total loss, but I never received a follow-up on that request. When I tried to initiate a return, I was told I would need to pay 99 for shipping, even though the error wasn’t mine. After pretty much arguing with the person I was speaking to online and wasting much more time while I should have been working, (because they said I ordered the 2 door option-they kept saying the one door doesn’t exist and it was my mistake for ordering), she finally agreed that I wouldn’t need to pay for shipping and got it scheduled I was offered partial discounts multiple times instead of a clear resolution. Because of the timing, I asked if they could at least discount the hardware so my contractor’s time wouldn’t be a total loss and he could at least get the hardware installed while we find a different door. They told me that I would not be able to keep just the hardware. If I did that, I’d have to keep the doors too and pay for it all. I did ask for a large discount hoping they’d accept it . I even asked to confirm that it was scheduled and I didn’t need to do anything else. Days later when Fed Ex was scheduled to pick up, they never did. Apparently the pickup was never actually processed due to an internal mistake, leaving large, expensive items sitting on my porch that I had to move back into my house (needing help from someone because the items are so heavy). At that point, I had to arrange help multiple times just to move and secure these packages, which added even more stress and inconvenience. To their credit, a manager did step in and resolve the return shipping at no cost, which I appreciated. However, by that point, the situation had already cost my business significant time, money, and disruption. I’m not expecting anything from this review—I simply want others to be aware. For a purchase this large and time-sensitive, I would strongly recommend triple-checking details and being prepared for potential delays or miscommunication.

We had the door installed and it’s great and feels sturdy.
