[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I did not install this myself. I read the instructions and decided this was definitely a job for a pro (at least two, actually). But it was fairly simple to get someone out for the job and the price was reasonable. I'd recommend that unless you are very handy and have two people that can lift a lot of weight. So, in regards to how hard it was to install, the best I can offer is the guy said "not bad at all". I do know he pointed out that it was good it came with a very small frame for the stationary panel where it butts up to the wall. That's because most home's walls are not perfectly square but the glass panels always are. So normally you'd have some gap at the top or bottom filled with silicon. But because this has the little frame, it hides any gaps. In my case it was nearly 1/2" out of square but you'd never know. What I can comment on is the quality of the product. I was really happy with the thickness of the glass (3/8") and all the hardware. It doesn't look or feel plasticy anywhere. All heavy and solid. The installer was impressed as well. And aesthetically, it's beautiful. Such a huge upgrade to our guest bathroom over the rod and curtain. It looks like an upscale hotel now. We are very happy with this product.
