The door is gorgeous and heavy. It opens and closes beautifully now that it is installed. My highly competent and seasoned contractor installed it with another person as recommended in the instructions that came with the door and followed all of the installation requirements. But beware: the inserts provided to secure the screws through the hinge and the biscuit between the wall and the flange of the hinge were ultimately too short for the screws. Since the screw heads are so close to the door, unscrewing them to remove and try again was precarious and risky even with the other person holding the 100lb door steady. It became necessary to drill through the insert so that the screw could fasten door hinge to the wall. Once installed the door opened and closed beautifully. If my contractor wasn’t as resourceful and experienced as he is, I could see it could have been a very serious issue.

Now that it has been installed and we have used it, I have to say it was well worth the wait and upgrades the look of our bathroom from great to luxe! The actual door has clean lines and is heavy. The hardware, though very minimal, compliments the glass door and we achieved the exact look that we were wanting. This is not a lightweight shower door that will simply "work". It is an amazingly well made, well designed, gorgeous, shower door that allows you the freedom to style the rest of your bathroom in any style you choose because of the simplicity of the design. Love this shower door!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Door was delivered and it is estremley heavy so make sure you have two people to carry. You also need two people to install. I would recommend getting a contractor to install and make sure they are comfortable with the product. Looks nice
