The automated fan works well enough. The light stopped working about 370 days after purchase so I missed the warranty time frame. Now, when I can put together the time for this, I've got to figure out if it's the LED driver or light itself. Fun, fun.

Purchased (2) two XB110L1 units for (2) two bathroom remodels to replace the original ventilation fans that were approx 70 yrs old. Professional contractor/remodeler installed the units. He stated that there were no issues/problems with the installation of the unit. The LED light is very bright but the fan is so much louder than the original units we replaced. The ventilation fan is documented as having a sound level of less than 0.3 sones; this is simply not true. The 15 year old kitchen fridge runs quieter than these fans! We are extremely disappointed with our purchase given the amount of money that was spent on each unit. Our contractor has installed other brands of fans and was very interested in seeing how these Broan models perform. He also was not impressed with the units performance & sound level for the money spent; he has installed other brands that when the units are running you cannot hear that the fan is running and a person can carry on a conversation in a normal voice. With these Broans we have talk in a loud voice or completely turn off the fan. Very disappointing! We were also surprised that the units are built in China and not in the USA. We cannot and will not recommend this model of Broan fans to others for their bathroom remodeling projects.
