Sliding Flat Rail Track Connector

This works really well to connect two barn door rails together to make one long rail such that two (or more) doors will be able to slide along the rail all the way to the left and all the way to the right. The connector is flat and smooth and does not obstruct or block the door wheels when sliding (in other words does not prevent doors from sliding past it). I used it to put two five foot barn door rails together to make one long 10 foot rail so my two 30" doors (60" or 5 foot total) could slide all the way to the left on the rail when doors are open, and all the way to the right on the rail to close both doors together for my 5 foot door opening.

Does not look nothing like what’s pictured. It is just a flat piece with no lip on bottom

This does not the correct part to connect the two bars. Also: the connect bar does not come with bars, as we were told when we originally placed order. Had to wait two more weeks for this part - ordered per customer service, and it was not correct. We ended up making up our own connector. Ugh.

Worked as expected. But I needed to drill and tap the holes necessary, but worked as designed.
