We haven’t used it yet, but this portable water heater looks great. It’s a straightforward design and looks pretty easy to use. Simple dials, not digital, which I prefer. The packaging was great and the unit itself is not too heavy. So it will be easy to move and use. Once we use it, I will report back if I don’t find it less than a 5 star unit.

Unit came on time and in great condition, easy to assemble and it came with extra parts for power supply to pump and for water sources. Fired it up to check it for proper function and it heats water quickly.

Works great but your website doesn’t work

It is so nice to get something that actually works like it should.I boondock in the desert and this is a game changer!

I bought this to help warm up our 277 gallon inflatable hot tub in the cold Pacific Northwest. I wasn’t sure if it was powerful enough, but I didn’t want to start off with the larger unit that is said to use way more propane than people had imagined. With current outdoor temps ranging between 10-30 degrees F, my factory tub heater stays on full time and manages to keep steady water temps of 97-100 degrees F. Not bad for an inflatable of this size sitting on a concrete pad and uninsulated, but not warm enough for my liking. When I’m ready to soak, I place both the input hose and the shower head into the tub. This unit sucks water out of the tub, heats it up, and sprays hot water out of the shower head, effectively making a recirculating system that produces 170 degree water flow. It takes about 15 minutes to reach 105-107 degrees. It’s quite an experience to comfortably sit in a hot tub and notice that your hair has frozen solid after just a few minutes. I have read that the included water pump doesn’t like pumping hot water, but after a few weeks of regular use, I have not experienced any issues at all. For how affordable this Camplux outdoor shower is, if I needed to upgrade the water pump down the road, I would have no hard feelings about doing so. If you’re ballin’ on a budget or saving up for the deluxe tub, this outdoor shower used as a hot tub heater will get you through the coldest of winters. There’s nothing like soaking in a steaming hot tub while it’s snowing.
