As others have mentioned, this screen is sturdy and substantial. The screening is not entirely smooth, which I'm not crazy about, but it is not readily apparent (and might smooth out with heat - it was shipped in cold winter weather). Overall, a sleek look that I like.

I’m not sure yet about this piece because I need to communicate with customer service some blemishes that are on this piece-the weight of this is magnificent ~it is not going anywhere-even on my slanted fireplace floor~although I haven’t built a fire in 2 decades I wanted a something pretty to be a centerpiece-I looked at this one for a long time-there were a few others that have a similar look -but I leaned towards this one due to it’s weight being the heaviest -and a lot more expensive-I have only had great experience with Wayfair’s customer service, so I am confident I will receive some compensation for the defects in its frame-the screen is very sturdy -I would recommend this, hopefully you’ll receive one blemish free-I repeat it’s weight is great

Beautiful and quality craftsmanship- the polished trim is the perfect contrast. I was concerned about stability and am pleased with its weight and ease of use
