Awesome! Make the room more spacious!

I like the look, the color, the feel... but I did have a problem with the vertical boards not being straight on one door. One board was warped badly which made the one door not line-up with the other door... where it would stick out about 2" at the bottom, past the straight door. The Seller was good to work with and understanding, they sent me a set of new vertical boards to replace the warped one/s. Sadly, one of the replacement boards was warped as well, but not as bad. I installed it anyway and still wasn't happy with the look because it too stuck out at the bottom past the straight door when closed (but only about 1"). After a couple weeks I decided to permanently connect the two doors together using steel straps (top, bottom and middle). I know this would not work for everyone because your doors may slide in opposite directions when opened. For me it worked great because I can only slide my doors one direction to open. The end result is that it appears I have 2 doors, but they slide as one and look pretty nice. I like having them tied together and I like the look of two doors rather than having one big door.

I added an additional 12” mounting board to keep from scraping traditional door frame casing. Took away 2 stars because the back is just flat, no way to open from inside, have to add a handle

Love love love our barn door from master bath to laundry room. We messed up and hung it upside down and I didn’t want to put my handle on the left, so we just put it a little higher

Installation is a nightmare. The boards do not fit together. It would be easier to buy lumber and build this from scratch.
