I used stone tile from Wayfair to create a hearth. The stove is so awesome! It heats our whole house in an hour on high. It's hard to find the right vent kits, I had to order them online. You want type L, steel. If you put it in a corner like this, will need a 45° angle piece in type L. It's clean running.

Has kept us very warm over the cold months. Start up is very easy, very easy to clean and keep clean. The fan blower is relatively quiet and helps heat our 3200 sq ft house. The company has also been great to work with if we needed any parts or questions answered. All in all I would recommend buying from Wayfair and from Comfortbilt without hesitation.
