Costway 8000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner for 230 Square Feet with FP10119US-WH

Purchased June 20 2024. I used it for about 10 days each, for the last 2 years, and it has worked great! Plugged it in once this year, and it doesn't cool a small bedroom despite running all night. Unsure if I should e-waste it or see if there are still repair options.

Works great for my bedroom, not too loud. When I video chat they can barely hear it in the background. The installation kit fit perfectly in my window with no issues. There are no instructions on how to use the metal piece that comes with it to secure the window kit position but after playing with it I figured it out. Basically slip it into the groove and tighten it once you reach the desired length.

It works great until one side of the remote stops working. I’m not sure what happened.

Not as loud as some people's review. We were glad to have it in the few weeks of really hot weather. Worth the cost to be comfortable. Good quality and value.
