Ayers Rock 3" x 3" Porcelain Mosaic Tile in Rustic Remnant

This tile was the perfect accent in my newly redone shower! I love the shades of gray with undertones of other rich colors.

Samples revealed much less color than is illustrated - quite disappointing. Samples were mostly grey, and color that did present was quite muted. Samples seemed to be of high quality -- OK , if color suits.

We placed an order for this to use as floor tile in our shower. At the same time we ordered floor tile for the bathroom in the same pattern, as well as a complimentary wall tile for the shower. Wayfair's price on all three tiles was great, but fantastic for the mosaic tile. Unfortunately the shipment arrived without the five boxes of this tile that we ordered. We contacted Wayfair customer service immediately, and although they expedited their search for the missing boxes and ultimately offered to resend the tile, it was going to take too long to get to us. We ended up having to expedite an order from another vendor and ended up paying twice as much for it. The three star rating is for the outstanding customer service, even though we were extremely disappointed as not being able to use Wayfair to save both time and money on our bathroom remodel.

A good majority of the shades are in the grey bluish tones. The mosaics especially look printed instead of having a realistic appearance. The edges are not slightly rounded like the matching larger tile pieces. I also did not like that these were a hair or two thinner than the main field tiles. This creates a problem with design. Shades of Grey, rust, gold and browns. Fine lines of white speckled throughout. If the tile chips you would see white along the edges. Picture is much darker in color than in person. The product is nice for the value. I'm not sure I would recommend this product for a tile counter or backsplash. Good for accent piece here and there.
