The air conditioner itself is cooling nicely the patio door kit does not work the exhaust attaches way at the top like 78 inches high and the exhaust hose doesn't reach putting the air conditioner with casters on a 18 inch platform was not a good idea so I made my own patio door template out of corrugated plastic see picture attached

Great unit. Danby products have always proven to work well. Powerful amount of cold air flow to cool down the space

I ordered this about a week and half ago, love the look but it didnt come with the window adapter, which was disappointing because i paid a lot for it.

Works well, but instructions were quite sketchy

This thing works amazing, and I like everything about it EXCEPT for the hose and the power cord which is just under 5.5ft long. ( to be fair, the cord is something every portable AC I have ever owned has had an issue with though so I wont be mentioning that much) The hose does have some big issues that could be a deal breaker for some, if not most; which is why I am only giving 2 stars. I wanted a dual hose unit, and that parts great but the issue with this one is that the hose is not very long, maybe about 4.5 ft, which may seem adequate but when you factor in how this thing bends because of its ovular shape and the different window sizes out there, its not. Also the attachment that comes with it for hooking it up to vertical windows was broken out of the box, and the quality of the window bracket is great, but the connectors for it are the same cheap quality snap in parts. For some the hose will be a deal breaker, as it is with my window that is 3ft up and the cord that almost didn't reach the socket, it barely fit. I had to put it in the away from the edge of the window, leaving 6 inches open air that I had to block off (as seen in photo) and I would be returning this but the other AC I bought from a different brand was so defective and poorly made that I'm not taking my chances with buying a third one and will stick with this one and its hose issue and if it didn't have the hose issue I would literally be buying a second one, no exaggeration. Aside from the huge problems with the hose and the power cord, this thing works really well.
