So... there's definitely some pros and cons with this shower doors set.
PROS - The glass is rated as "explosion proof" and it came fully intact (despite the box be ripped through on multiple corners and across the bottom). So that's good. The overall finished look is modern and elevated. That's another awesome thing. And the black metal pieces are of good quality, as well as the hardware included.
CONS - The instructions are HORRIBLE. No writing, no explanations, no marked pieces, nothing. Just weird pictures that take a major learning curve to perfect following (in which common sense and background in DIYing will help you way more than these instructions ever would). Another problem, pieces don't match pictures (as shown here). Another issue, these doors are NOT meant to be over the bathtub (as the pictures in this listing show) and they are NOT meant to sit nicely against a tub surround... they are literally designed to be shower doors to slide along the floor. They leave HUGE GAPS between the surround and the doors, and the doors with each other that will most definitely leave a puddle on the floor with every use. Additionally, there's only the one middle thing holding the glass in a line to open and shut, the rest hangs on the bar above, so even if you have it perfectly in line, the sides of each door by the walls can move out of line because they're just free-hanging. To install these, especially with the terrible instructions, you have to use A LOT of tools not mentioned in the instructions. Plan on sawing thick metal (to shorten bars and poles), cutting through thick plastic (and then readjusting the ability to mount correctly) to shorten the seals so the doors slide properly along the top bar, and plan on looking at END steps to figure out current steps. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND looking at ALL the steps FIRST, before even beginning as it will be CRUCIAL in knowing what order to actually do the steps in and knowing how to arrange pieces that it doesn't show you in the instructions now but will show you later.
Overall, I did this all on my own (a 38 year old woman by herself, except when lifting the glass up on to the mounting areas I had my son help), and I'm glad it's done and now we are ready to use it, BUT... it's frustrating and tiresome and took me 5 hours (with having to tweak a lot more to fit my area). I like the look, but practicality is lacking.
