It does not have a very stable feel, and would not recommend it to heavier and or bigger people. I am 5'5" and mid weight, it fits me well and after a week or so I got used to it.

I bought the Quick-Release Elongated Toilet Seat as a replacement for my DeerValley Ally Standard Bathroom Toilet seat. It fit perfectly, but just like the original, the hidden fasteners eventually broke. The replacement parts were also faulty—the seat disconnects from the toilet and moves around, making it feel unstable. Overall, the quick-release feature is convenient, but the fastener design is unreliable and leads to repeated issues
