Solid and gorgeous. I love that these are squared, as they pair well with my square framed door knobs (also matte black). I have had these installed for over a year and a half and have not had to adjust or retighten, even once. They hold the roll on as expected and stand out in our bathrooms. Love these!!

Do NOT buy this series. There is no real clip on the housing to attached to the bracket.. there is just a slight bump but it does not hold- when you tighten the small screw it ends up pushing the housing away from the wall.. I've installed LOTS of towel bars and should have returned these as soon as I saw how poor the housing was
