NOT a great experience with these door knobs. The packaging claims "quick and easy installation." Not true. I've installed (changed out) about a dozen door knobs in the past month, all different types from three other manufacturers, and the process was fairly easy and quick on all of them. These Delaney double dummy knobs were a whole different story. To start, the tiny slip of paper that's supposed to be instructions...isn't even close. It's useless. The knob assembly consists of three parts, but they arrive as one piece, fit together, and trying to figure out how to separate them is ridiculous and maddening. I finally looked online for the company's phone number and called for help. A nice woman helped to talk me through getting the door knob apart, then prying off the copper screw assembly. But even she admitted it's not easy. I finally got them separated into the three pieces, but then I had to do it for eight different knobs. Once that was finally accomplished, then came the so-called "quick and easy" installation. What a joke. They provide no instructions telling you how to position the screw assemblies so that the silver-tone notches on the knobs and the rosettes don't show. These knobs have concealed screws -- but it defeats the purpose when the notches are very noticeable. I've had to touch them up with dark paint to try to conceal them. Finally, the rosettes don't fasten securely onto the door as with my original door knob sets. If there's a way to keep them from sliding around, it's a mystery to me. Some actual instructions might help. I don't know, because they don't provide them. I'm sorry but I would not recommend these door knobs, at all.
