My mother once had the first Delta the ADA prototype back in the mid 70's. Today I own a Delta faucet two handle Foundation style with acrylic handles. As a handyman, I choose this style since I felt in love with the cartridge system. The cartridge system is by far the best system I have work with and it is a breeze to work with. They are cheap to replace and long lasting and replacing rubber seats is a snap! My advice to anyone out there is to do twice a year preventive maintenance on the faucet once during 1st day of spring and once during 1st day of fall. Also replace O-rings as need it and use plumber's grease for stems and valves twice a year. Once you do this, your faucet will take care of you. Also, if you want your faucet to work properly, don't use substitute parts, always use genuine parts.
