I was very disappointed when I purchased this faucet I got everything installed and the water flow on the cold side was very low after waiting a week to get the parts to fix this problem we discover that the faucet was defective and had to return it to where we bought it we did exchange it for the same item but i'm disappointed that the 1st faucet did not work right from the start

We put this faucet in last week (professional plumber hired). It replaced a single-handle faucet that just was not working with our well-water and country-living environment. The build-up of water deposits around the swivel joint for the one-handle faucet created a perfect environment for mildew. I don't have the time to tend to mildew daily. I decided to go to a two-handle style in order to avoid the constant occurrence of water running down off our drippy hands into that swivel joint. In this regard, the Griffen faucet is a perfect problem solver. However, the fit into the standard four-hole sink opening is poor. The handles are so long that the cold (right side) handle is almost touching the sprayer (pic #1). The sprayer is oversized because of style, and it is tedious to try to avoid bumping into it when reaching for the cold handle (pic #2). I MUST orient the sprayer to face away from the faucet in order to keep from touching it when turning on the cold (pic #3 shows turned in). Thank goodness I don't have overlarge hands. As noted by another reviewer, the sprayer connection is not standard, so this is the only choice I have in sprayer styles. It has not been long enough to note any unusual failures, however we know from long-time Delta ownership that a call to Delta will set anything to right with some expert support. I would recommend this style to a friend, with reservations about the hole spacing.

Bought this 5 years ago. The valves are remarkably great but the finish is pitted badly. It's the stainless version and my expectation was that this product would stand up over time. I would buy delta again, but only with a single pull down because the deck plate could easily be replaced. Impossible to find the current deck plate. This is a very nice looking model!
