The water pressure is the same - not more not less. I wish the shower head was detachable as we have a dog who we bathe in the tub. Because of this, we couldn’t use this shower head for too long.

Installation is easy make sure you have plumbers tape available. Then let the Raincan head, pressure of a nice down pour take your stresses of the day away.
