My old spout was cosmetically beat up and I wanted to replace it with the classic mid-century pull-down diverter shape. I understood this was my last chance to buy it with the old type metal-plastic combination, and that the newer ones were less metal and more plastic. So what I purchased is now extinct. I like that.

Ordered this to replace the plastic spout that comes with most of Delta's trim kits and I'm very happy with it. It's all metal and substantial in feel. Favorite feature- Instead of pulling up on a lever to divert water from spout to shower head, you pull down on the bottom portion of the spout.
