This was a great solution for my powder room door. The doors are original to the house and the old crystal knobs did not have a lock. The molding around the door is not a flat surface, so no where to put a sliding lock. This cabin latch pivots in all directions so works great, and looks great in the aged brass

This is a nice product I haven't installed it to know if the fit and function will be what I expect.
