It works well & fit relatively well into the previous area. I did have to chisel a bit of wood away to make the strike plate work. Overall would recommend!

Purchased these for four new replacement wood doors as part of my home reno project; needed them to match already existing mechanism in another door. so far is great- wish the silver portion was also black for a sleeker look but not something im looking at every day
