Spectacular effect! I did not, however, like the half-moon acrylic panel. I cut it down into a much smaller rectangle (very difficult to do). Used a black marker to color edge. It looks 100% better! I love it!

Received my electric Dimplex RLG 25-in Revillusion fireplace log set and had to wait a few days to remove my existing gas logs. Once everything was ready, I opened the box and was very surprised at the quality of the construction, especially the grate that the logs rest on. The grate was somewhat unstable but I proceeded to hook up the logs after reading the instructional manual. Set up is a piece of cake but nothing happened when I pushed on the remote to start. I looked on the back of the remote and the date of 12/28/2023 was stamped. I made a trip to the store to buy a CR0032 and replaced the old battery. I did get the fireplace to turn on and the flame button gave me the fire colored logs. The light, brightness and color themes buttons, no matter how many times you pressed made absolutely no difference in the appearance of the flame. The blower button did work but but the forced air is very minimal and you can barely feel it standing directly in front of the logs. I ran the logs in a 625 square ft. room for two hours and it did not raise the temp in the room at all. Something has to be wrong with this unit!

The Dimplex RLG25 was a breeze to set up. It’s very realistic looking. I was afraid the plastic reflector would be visible, but you can hardly see it. I used a Bluetooth speaker to play fireplace sounds to make it even more realistic. We turned the heater on, just to see how it works. It provides a little excess heat, but I wouldn’t depend on it as the sole heat for a room. It had a slight plastic smell that seemed to dissipate after running for a few minutes. My only minor issue was that the remote had an old battery. We changed it, but the remote is a little funky.

The house is being renovated for a Short Term Rental Property. The fireplace was built specifically for these electric logs. Assembly was extremely easy. The log set is very light for maneuvering if necessary. The electric logs are controlled with a remote. Once turned on, the ambiance of this fireplace is fantastic, very realistic. On a chilly morning or evening, this fireplace cranks out the heat. I absolutely love it and in fact, I plan on buying another for the living room fireplace.

Customer service was great! Helping me return fireplace logs. I had no problems returning them right away and given me credit right away. I never did open box and when I received it. Shipped it back same day. I just changed my mind.The same day I got e-mail and they said I would get my money in a few days. The only downside I had to pay a restocking fee. But service was the best if you order or want to return merchandise.
