Love this sliding door for our basement entrance from the kitchen. We had it professionally installed with a support beam to ensure it wouldn't sag. It looks and works great!

The door looks so beautiful in person! The only issue is that the frosted privacy glass isn’t private at all as it looks on the picture in the description. You can see right through the frosted glass especially with the lights on. That’s my only issue. Other than that I love the door. Would’ve gave it 5 stars if it wasn’t for that.

Very smooth to move the door, and the color is quite fit to my room, I used it between kitchen and dinning room. It efficiently reduces the noise of range hood.

My sliding glass barn door arrived quickly and well packaged. It is heavy, & I recommend putting it together in the room you'll be using it in. There are two sets of instructions; the instructions for putting the door together are in multiple languages, including easy to understand English. The instructions to install the door onto the glide track are all drawings so I turned to YouTube. I can't find a video specific to this door, but I've watched a few and they're helpful. There's no mention of using a header, but I'll add one above the door since I'm not removing the trim. The metal bar has five holes 16" apart; unfortunately, I only have three studs that line up with the holes, & I'm concerned about using the plastic wall anchors considering the weight of the door, but I'm going to give it a try. The instructions also use odd measurements for lengths, widths and drill bits ie 85.7"/217.7 cm instead of 85 11/16" but you can find the equivalent fractions on line. One of two previous reviewers mentioned the M8x90mm wall anchors being cheap so I ordered heavy duty ones like he did. I'll add another photo when it's up. I expected to post a photo of the door hung yesterday; however, sliding barn doors are supposed to hang 1" off the ground, & mine just touches the ground using the 85.7' as in the diagram. I'm going to fill these holes with wood putty, sand, paint, then drill new holes. I only used a 3 1/2" header, thinking the diagram dimensions would be accurate. I'm going to have to install the metal bar even with the top of the header in order to get a 3/4" ground clearance...I'm taking another star off. More to follow. Update - now that the door is installed, I'm giving it 5 stars. I still have a couple of steps to finish it, & install trim inside the frame to cover where the hinges and latch hole for the old door, but the sliding barn door looks great and rolls smoothly. Many of my Tried and True/Nieghbors Program photos have been deleted (not by me); I'll add them again.

I have a lot to unpack here. I give the door once installed 5 stars but the instructions only get 2.5 stars. Here’s why I included a pic from the problem stage and two from the solution phase. IF you have moulding (and you probably do), you’re going to end up like the first pic. The bolts hit the moulding and door couldn’t slide so unusable. When we got to this stage, I nearly cried until my husband who is super handy and quick on his feet said omg, I’m going to swap the brackets from front to back and viola…fit like a dream! Next, it doesn’t say this in the instructions BUT if you have this track going all the way to a wall like we did, you only get one chance to put that stopper on before you mount the track. Put the stopper on then before you mount the track. Instructions tell you to do it at the end but you’d have to take it off the wall, add the stopper and re-mount. No thanks. Finally, the instructions use the metric system but the inched don’t always convert smoothly so get ready to search some wild stuff up to get the proper conversion. Other than, the door is well built, very heavy, and solid. We love it but just get prepared to run into some issue like the aforementioned and hopefully this helps at least one person!
