I think the quality is better than I imaged and the thickness is close to 8mm. However, there is a issue to fasten it by screw on my bathtub. And also the door can not be open smoothly when it is dry. The seal at the bottom gets very rigid after dried.

I really k like the look of these doors. My contractor spent a half day I n stalling them. So I do not know ok f a,lay person can do it. I was tired of traditional sliding doors. The room looks larger now. Go for it and enjoy them.

Very elegant and love it for our bathroom. Water drips out from the door on occasion, so you definitely need a bathmat up close to the tub.
